Jose Luis had music in his veins from a young age, playing drums and the guitar as a young boy, and starting his first rock band at the age of 12. At 17, he was part of the band "Switch", a group that would surprise everyone with its avant-garde style, so ahead of its time. Today, Jose Luis is a successful composer, producer and arranger, creating hits for stars like Marc Anthony, Jennifer Lopez, and Chayanne.

Thalia recorded 7 of Pagan’s songs in 2006, and several became hits such as “Amar Sin Ser Amada”, and Un Alma Sentenciada”.  Pagan was nominated for a 2005 Grammy as the composer of Marc Anthony’s hit “Valio La Pena”.

Pagan was born in Argentina, but has lived in the US since 2000 where he has had great success—collaborating with Latin artists such as Gisselle, Innis, Ilegales, Jennifer Peña, Christian Castro, Patricia Manterola.  Pagan has a sensitivity for deep melodies and lyrics, even in the midst of powerful, driving pop songs. Pagan assures us that his best song is the one he will compose tomorrow.
